Bat Flight is among the most incredible
places on earth - at Carlsbad Caverns dusk. The bats come home in springtime. Elevations
inside the park rise from 3,595 feet inside the lowlands to 6,520 feet atop the
escarpment. Though there are scattered woods in the higher elevations, the park
is generally a number of grassland and desert shrub land habitats.
Underlying
the rugged desert scenery is one of the most critical geologic resources within
the United States. The Guadalupe Mountains will be the uplifted percentage of a
historical reef that thrived along the edge of an inland sea over 250 thousand
years ago during Permian time. Preserved within the rocks are the bodies of
algae sponges, snails, nautilus, and several different animals that existed in
this ancient sea. Researchers from all over the world go to the park annually
to review wildlife and the framework of the reef.
Caves are
fragile environments which are affected by individual actions and natural
processes occurring on top and both underground. Several park caves are
maintained and handled in a pristine condition, so researchers could recognize
the initial ecosystem within them. These scientists are only beginning to
recognize the advanced, tiny creatures that inhabit the caves. Understanding
them has uncovered a food chain that begins with nutrients inside the rock, and
has demonstrated that some of the organisms might help serious human diseases including
cancer.
The
glistening white sands of New Mexico
Increasing
from the center of the Tularosa Basin is one of many worlds’ wonderful natural
wonders - New Mexico's shimmering white sands. Great wave like dunes of gypsum
sand have engulfed 275 square miles of wilderness, making the entire world's
largest gypsum dune field. White Sands National Monument preserves a
significant percentage of this excellent dune field, combined with the flowers
and creatures that live here.
Because
there is which has no clean water within the White sands dune field, animals
that live in the dunes must get almost all their water just in the food they
eat. Desert animals have changed several ways of keeping moisture. The kangaroo
rat never drinks water and takes only dried vegetables.
Wow, that was a huge a list of Mexican tours for a single trip, I thought of splitting them for multiple trips to Mexico, I'd suggest you guys to Visit Oz during the evil climate season in Mexico.
